Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues for county employees.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, printers, and mobile devices across multiple departments.
- Monitor network performance and implement security measures to protect county data.
- Conduct regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure operational continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical needs and implement scalable solutions.
- Document all technical procedures, incident reports, and inventory changes accurately.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
- Valid CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent technical experience is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, hardware diagnostics, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
