Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure systems
- Lead cybersecurity incident response and threat mitigation efforts
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT security policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration projects
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Ensure compliance with federal security standards (NIST, FISMA)
- Train staff on cybersecurity best practices and protocols
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in IT security or network administration
- Active Security+ CE certification required
- Experience with federal IT security frameworks (FISMA, NIST)
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (Splunk, SolarWinds)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
