Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex IT projects for federal clients in Colorado Springs, ensuring compliance with FAR and agency-specific regulations.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against milestones.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams, government stakeholders, and executive leadership.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
- Manage resource allocation and ensure team performance meets quality standards.
- Conduct regular status meetings and prepare detailed performance reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management within the government or defense contracting sector.
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one; Top Secret clearance preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
