Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain NIST cybersecurity frameworks across federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified networks
- Develop incident response protocols for cyber threats and data breaches
- Collaborate with federal agencies to share threat intelligence and best practices
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, CUI, and other federal security regulations
- Lead security awareness training programs for federal employees
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) alerts and coordinate incident responses
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in IT security with federal systems
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent cybersecurity certification
- Expertise in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM)
- Knowledge of federal IT security policies (NIST, FISMA, CUI)
- Experience with cloud security architecture (AWS, Azure GovCloud)
- Ability to obtain and maintain DHS suitability clearance
