Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop operating systems (Windows/Linux) and peripherals.
- Manage IT asset inventory and perform regular hardware audits.
- Document system configurations, resolutions, and procedures in the IT Service Management (ITSM) ticketing system.
- Assist in implementing cybersecurity protocols and maintaining compliance with federal standards (e.g., NIST).
- Conduct regular system checks and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic scripting (PowerShell/Bash preferred).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
