Responsibilities
- Manage and secure IT systems supporting electronic health records
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect veteran data
- Provide technical support to 200+ medical staff members
- Coordinate system upgrades and vendor integrations
- Develop disaster recovery plans for critical infrastructure
- Train staff on new technologies and security protocols
- Comply with federal IT regulations (FISMA, HIPAA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of network/system administration experience
- Active Security+ or CompTIA Security certification
- Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
- Familiarity with VA-specific systems (VistA, CPRS)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
