- Provide Tier 2 technical support for federal government networks and hardware systems.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex IT issues, and resolve tickets efficiently.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, DISA).
- Manage IT asset inventory and assist with the deployment of software updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize IT infrastructure and user experience.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate service records.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Active Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows Server, and Active Directory.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and hardware troubleshooting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with federal stakeholders.
- Ability to work part-time hours while maintaining high productivity and reliability.
