Responsibilities
- Tier 2/3 Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for federal network infrastructure, hardware, and software applications.
- System Administration: Manage and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and system servers, ensuring 99.9% uptime.
- Cybersecurity Compliance: Assist in enforcing federal security protocols, including the monitoring of system logs and incident reporting.
- Hardware & Asset Management: Oversee the inventory and lifecycle management of federal government-owned equipment, ensuring proper tagging and tracking.
- User Assistance: Deliver training and support to federal personnel regarding the use of secure communication channels and IT resources.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, including change management logs and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Security Clearance: Must possess an Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one. (Background investigation required).
- Education: Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or system administration within a federal or government-contracted environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows Server, Active Directory, and basic scripting (PowerShell/Batch).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
