Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT infrastructure systems supporting VA operations
- Lead cloud migration projects using AWS and Azure platforms
- Develop cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Manage IT budgets and vendor contracts for federal compliance
- Train staff on new technologies and system upgrades
- Ensure all systems meet federal FISMA and NIST standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT strategic planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience with federal systems
- Active Security+ CE certification and AWS/Azure certifications
- Proficiency in network architecture, database management, and DevOps
- Demonstrated experience with federal procurement processes (FAR/FAC)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex IT challenges
