Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust information security controls to protect classified and sensitive data
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal systems
- Develop incident response plans and lead cybersecurity breach mitigation
- Ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, and DHS security policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into system development lifecycles
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools and analyze threat intelligence

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or information assurance
- Active Security+ CE certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in network security tools (e.g., Wireshark, Metasploit)
- Knowledge of federal security frameworks and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex security issues
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DHS suitability clearance
