Responsibilities
- Network Administration: Design, implement, and maintain complex federal network infrastructure to ensure high availability and security.
- System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for federal stakeholders with minimal downtime.
- Cybersecurity Compliance: Monitor system logs, apply security patches, and enforce adherence to federal cybersecurity standards (NIST, FISMA).
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations, network diagrams, and incident reports in compliance with government regulations.
- Technical Support: Provide tier-2 and tier-3 support to internal staff and federal clients regarding IT operations and applications.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade legacy systems and implement new federal technology initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain one) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in IT support, network administration, or systems engineering within a federal or government contracting environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Cisco routing/switching, Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a high-security environment.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to client sites within the Fort Worth area as needed.
