Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Implement and enforce federal information security policies and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP).
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and hardware systems.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities.
- Document system configurations and maintain accurate technical records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system upgrades and migrations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in systems administration within a federal or government contracting environment.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Windows Server, and Linux operating systems.
- Active Top Secret or Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GCFA are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
