Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via help desk and on-site assistance.
- Manage and maintain desktop environments, including Windows and macOS operating systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Implement and monitor IT security protocols to protect county assets and data privacy.
- Perform system backups, maintenance, and disaster recovery testing to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with the IT team to deploy new applications, patches, and hardware upgrades across the organization.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical experience is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in IT support or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networking.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware peripherals, printers, and mobile devices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with non-technical staff.
