Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and network issues during weekend operations.
- Monitor server health, execute routine system backups, and ensure data security compliance for state databases.
- Manage and respond to IT service tickets and help desk inquiries with a focus on rapid resolution.
- Collaborate with the central IT team to deploy security patches and maintain OS integrity.
- Perform physical inspections and maintenance of office equipment, printers, and peripherals.
- Assist in the configuration and setup of new workstations and devices for incoming staff.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; high school diploma with equivalent experience accepted.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical role.
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent technical proficiency is required.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain a state government security clearance and pass a background investigation.
