Responsibilities
- Provide tier-2 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues on weekends.
- Manage and maintain help desk ticket queues, ensuring timely resolution of user inquiries.
- Perform system backups, updates, and patch management to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the deployment of new workstations and peripherals for government facilities.
- Monitor server health and alert the on-call team to any critical issues.
- Collaborate with the core IT team to implement long-term infrastructure improvements.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent military or technical experience is accepted.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a help desk environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts.
- Ability to work independently during the weekend shift with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass a background check.
