Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems within the state network.
- Manage Active Directory, user accounts, and security protocols.
- Monitor system performance and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT best practices and security standards.
- Provide technical support and training to agency staff members.
- Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal information security policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and network infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a state security clearance.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) is preferred.
