Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) for government clients.
- Configure, install, and troubleshoot server hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and virtualization environments.
- Implement and enforce network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to protect sensitive data.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support to government personnel, resolving complex hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Conduct regular system backups, patch management, and perform routine hardware upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT infrastructure aligns with organizational goals and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent military experience).
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in systems administration or network engineering.
- Experience with government contracts or public sector environments is highly preferred.
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (or the ability to obtain one) is required for immediate consideration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, TCP/IP, and virtualization platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to data security.
