Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for system improvements.
- Design, develop, and implement IT solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including city departments and external vendors, to ensure project alignment.
- Maintain and audit data systems to ensure compliance with government regulations and security standards.
- Conduct technical troubleshooting and provide end-user support for critical government applications.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering to deployment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems analysis or a related IT role.
- Proficiency in SQL, Java, and database management systems (Oracle/SQL Server).
- Familiarity with government IT frameworks, cybersecurity protocols, and data privacy laws.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, urgent environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
