Responsibilities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain server infrastructure and applications during off-peak hours (Saturday & Sunday).
- Provide technical support and resolution for internal government staff accessing remote systems.
- Perform system backups, patch management, and security audits to ensure data integrity.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate logs for weekend operations.
- Collaborate with the weekday operations team to ensure seamless handover and support continuity.
- Respond to critical system alerts and perform emergency repairs as required.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent military experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Strong understanding of Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
- Proven experience working in a remote work environment.
- Availability to work a consistent weekend shift (Saturday and Sunday).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
