Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot complex network systems and hardware equipment.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive state data from cyber threats.
- Provide technical support and guidance to agency staff regarding software applications and hardware peripherals.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance assessments to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy IT solutions that improve business processes.
- Document technical procedures, configurations, and changes for knowledge base maintenance.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in IT support, systems administration, or network engineering.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networking.
- Familiarity with VPN technologies and network security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and possess the ability to obtain a Texas Driver's License.
