Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail and packages along designated routes with accuracy and timeliness
- Operate postal vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations
- Collect outgoing mail and process postage payments from customers
- Maintain detailed delivery records and report any irregularities or hazards
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery-related inquiries
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues
- Adhere to all USPS safety protocols and operational procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for using USPS tracking systems
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and follow strict delivery schedules
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Previous delivery or customer service experience preferred
