Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Operate mail vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations
- Collect outgoing mail from designated collection boxes and post office locations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any discrepancies or issues
- Provide exceptional customer service at the post office counter when required
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Adhere to all USPS security protocols and safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly and walk long distances
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for package tracking systems
- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions
- Strong time management and organizational skills
