Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail/packages along designated routes using USPS vehicles
- Collect outgoing mail and parcels from residential/commercial addresses
- Operate mail processing equipment and maintain accurate delivery records
- Adhere to strict safety protocols while operating USPS vehicles in urban/suburban areas
- Provide exceptional customer service during mail interactions and route inquiries
- Perform route adjustments during peak seasons or staffing shortages
- Complete daily delivery reports and maintain equipment cleanliness
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency status
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Proficient in basic navigation and route management
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work outdoors in Miami's tropical climate conditions
