Responsibilities
- Sort and deliver mail to residential and commercial addresses along designated routes
- Load/unload mail vehicles and maintain accurate delivery records
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
- Collect outgoing mail and process customer transactions at post offices
- Report delivery issues and maintain customer service standards
- Follow USPS safety protocols and operational procedures
- Assist with mail processing duties during peak seasons
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods in outdoor conditions
- Basic computer literacy for mail tracking systems
- Strong customer service orientation and reliability
