Responsibilities
- Manage maintenance and repair of public facilities including parks, roads, and municipal buildings
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and accessibility standards
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for infrastructure improvement projects
- Respond to public inquiries and service requests with professionalism and timeliness
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and asset inventory
- Participate in emergency response for weather-related infrastructure issues
- Support sustainability initiatives through eco-friendly maintenance practices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years in municipal maintenance or related field
- Valid Minnesota driver's license with clean driving record
- Certification in facility maintenance or public works management preferred
- Experience with GIS mapping and infrastructure management software
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for public interaction
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of OSHA safety protocols and ADA compliance standards
