Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair municipal infrastructure including roads, bridges, and public facilities
- Operate heavy machinery and specialized equipment safely and efficiently
- Document maintenance activities and prepare detailed technical reports
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal safety regulations
- Respond to emergency infrastructure repairs during off-hours as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- 3+ years of experience in municipal infrastructure or public works
- Valid Minnesota Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- OSHA 30-hour construction certification required
- Proficiency in infrastructure diagnostic tools and heavy machinery operation
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
