Responsibilities

  • Maintenance Operations: Perform routine maintenance, repair, and cleaning of city streets, sidewalks, and drainage canals to ensure public safety and flood control.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate heavy municipal equipment, including dump trucks, backhoes, street sweepers, and jackhammers.
  • Infrastructure Repair: Assist in pothole repairs, concrete patching, and the installation/removal of traffic signs and barricades.
  • Storm Response: Respond to weather-related emergencies, including street flooding and debris removal during heavy storms.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain an inventory of tools, materials, and supplies required for daily operations.

Qualifications
