Responsibilities
- Maintain city parks, recreational facilities, and public landscaping
- Operate heavy equipment for infrastructure repairs and snow removal
- Perform preventative maintenance on municipal buildings and systems
- Respond to emergency service calls during extreme weather events
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project coordination
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with clean record
- 2+ years in facilities maintenance or construction
- Certification in water treatment or hazardous materials preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme conditions
- OSHA 10-hour training certification
- Basic plumbing/electrical troubleshooting skills
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
