Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery for road maintenance and snow removal
- Perform preventative maintenance on public facilities and equipment
- Respond to emergency repair calls for water/sewer systems
- Conduct daily safety inspections of municipal sites
- Collaborate with engineering teams for infrastructure projects
- Document maintenance activities and equipment usage
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and city regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Colorado Class B Commercial Driver's License
- 2+ years experience in public works or facility maintenance
- Certification in heavy equipment operation (preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic knowledge of plumbing/electrical systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
