Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on city facilities, parks, and public infrastructure
- Operate heavy machinery including mowers, tractors, and snow removal equipment
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain compliance with OSHA standards
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests during extreme weather events
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams for coordinated infrastructure projects
- Document maintenance activities and submit accurate progress reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in municipal or commercial settings
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean driving record
- Certification in heavy equipment operation preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and hazardous material handling
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
