Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Safely operate and maintain USPS vehicles in compliance with safety regulations
- Sort, organize, and prepare mail for efficient daily delivery operations
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with residents and businesses
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and maintain route logs
- Adhere to USPS performance standards for delivery timeliness and accuracy
- Operate automated delivery equipment and handheld scanning devices
- Work in all weather conditions while maintaining professional appearance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly and handle heavy mail trays
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Basic computer literacy for operating USPS technology systems
- Willingness to work Saturdays and holidays as required
