Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on city facilities, playgrounds, and landscaping
- Operate heavy machinery and specialized equipment safely and efficiently

- Conduct regular inspections of public areas and document findings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on major civic improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and stakeholders
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 2 years experience in maintenance or construction
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
