Responsibilities
- Maintain city parks, sidewalks, and public facilities through daily inspections and preventive maintenance
- Operate specialized equipment including trucks, mowers, and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Respond to public service requests regarding infrastructure issues within 48 hours
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on urban beautification projects
- Adhere to OSHA standards and municipal safety protocols at all times
- Document work activities and material usage in digital maintenance systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years maintenance experience
- Valid Missouri Class B driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic proficiency with digital reporting tools (GIS experience a plus)
