Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency road maintenance, including pothole repair, pavement marking, and striping.
- Operate heavy and light equipment, including dump trucks, graders, and skid steers.
- Assist in snow and ice removal operations during inclement weather.
- Maintain and repair public facilities, including restrooms, signage, and fencing.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations and municipal policies.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and the public regarding project status and safety concerns.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class C Colorado Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting 50+ lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, machinery, or automotive repair is a plus.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
