Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city infrastructure including streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as trucks, mowers, and snow removal machinery
- Assist in stormwater management and drainage system upkeep
- Participate in emergency response during weather-related events
- Conduct inspections and report infrastructure issues
- Support community beautification projects and special events
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to operate heavy equipment (training provided)
- Physical ability to perform strenuous outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction/maintenance practices preferred

- Ability to follow safety protocols and work independently
