Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including street sweeping, park maintenance, and facility upkeep
- Operate light equipment (sweepers, mowers) and hand tools for public infrastructure projects
- Assist in storm cleanup, debris removal, and emergency response operations
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain equipment according to city standards
- Document work activities and submit daily progress reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for coordinated service delivery
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic equipment operation skills or willingness to obtain certification
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- 1+ years of maintenance/construction experience preferred
- Strong commitment to public safety and customer service
