Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of public facilities including parks, streets, and municipal buildings
- Operate heavy equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
- Respond promptly to public service requests and emergency situations
- Conduct inspections and report infrastructure concerns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate city projects
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards
- Assist in disaster preparedness and community outreach initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to operate heavy equipment (CDL a plus)
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work in all weather conditions
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Previous municipal/government experience preferred
