Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of city facilities, parks, and infrastructure
- Operate light machinery and specialized equipment safely
- Assist in emergency response and disaster recovery operations
- Enforce municipal codes and regulations in assigned areas
- Provide excellent customer service to community members
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on public projects
- Maintain accurate records of work activities and inventory
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and equipment operation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Previous municipal/government experience preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification a plus
