Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city parks, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery and equipment for landscaping and construction tasks
- Respond to emergency storm and debris removal operations
- Assist with traffic control and public safety initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Adhere to all OSHA and municipal safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Tennessee driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool operation knowledge
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain required municipal certifications
