Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repair of streets, sidewalks, and public facilities.
- Operate heavy and light machinery, including trucks, bulldozers, and street sweepers.
- Collect and dispose of refuse and recyclable materials in accordance with safety regulations.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of traffic control devices and signs.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls and weather-related incidents as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and equipment.
- Adhere to all city safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class C Arizona Driver’s License.
- Physical ability to perform heavy manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to public service and community safety.
