Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of city parks, trails, and recreational facilities
- Operate landscaping equipment including mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems
- Assist in event setup and breakdown for community gatherings and sports activities
- Monitor facility conditions and report maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Support waste management and litter control across assigned areas
- Collaborate with team members on seasonal projects and beautification initiatives
- Interact professionally with park visitors and provide courteous assistance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment operation
- Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality and reliability
- Ability to follow safety protocols and work independently
- Previous landscaping, maintenance, or park experience preferred
