Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of city streets, sidewalks, and public facilities.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of public parks, landscaping, and recreational areas.
- Operate light to medium-duty vehicles and heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Respond to community service requests and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure all work complies with city safety codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete daily work assignments.
- Monitor inventory levels for tools, equipment, and supplies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid California Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat and rain.
- Strong commitment to public service and community engagement.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
