Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of city parks, streets, and public facilities
- Operate heavy machinery including graders, dump trucks, and mowers
- Conduct safety inspections and adhere to OSHA standards
- Assist in emergency response during weather events
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on infrastructure projects
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona Commercial Driver's License (Class B)
- Minimum 2 years of equipment operation experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to work in extreme desert temperatures
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems
