Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain municipal equipment (street sweepers, trucks, etc.)
- Perform routine infrastructure inspections and minor repairs
- Execute park maintenance and beautification projects
- Respond to public service requests and emergency situations
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments on city initiatives
- Document work activities and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Class C driver's license (Class B preferred)
- Minimum 2 years equipment operation experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varied weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency for reporting systems
