Responsibilities
- Maintain public parks, streets, and facilities through daily inspections and upkeep
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, mowers, trucks) safely and efficiently
- Respond to emergency weather events (snow removal, storm cleanup)
- Assist in infrastructure projects (road repairs, signage installation)
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams for coordinated service delivery
- Adhere to OSHA and municipal safety protocols at all times
- Document work activities and submit daily reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Background check and drug screening required
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays
