Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city infrastructure including parks, roads, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery and equipment for landscaping, snow removal, and waste management
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with municipal regulations
- Respond to emergency service requests during inclement weather and critical events
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on public improvement projects
- Document work activities and maintain accurate service records
- Engage with residents to address public service concerns and requests
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic mechanical skills and equipment operation experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Experience in municipal or public sector work highly valued
