Responsibilities
- Monitor facility security and inmate activities during overnight shifts
- Conduct regular perimeter checks and surveillance rounds
- Respond to emergencies and incidents with proper protocols
- Enforce facility rules and maintain inmate discipline
- Complete detailed incident and shift reports
- Collaborate with day-shift staff for seamless operations
- Participate in mandatory training and drills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Physical fitness for walking/standing during entire shifts
- Must be 18+ years old and a U.S. citizen
- Experience in security or law enforcement preferred
