Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility protocols during overnight shifts
- Conduct regular security inspections and headcounts to prevent contraband
- Respond to emergencies, altercations, and medical incidents with de-escalation expertise
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Operate security systems including surveillance equipment and access controls
- Collaborate with day-shift staff for seamless facility operations

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Valid Texas Peace Officer License (TCLEOSE) or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and drug screening
- Strong conflict resolution and crisis management skills
- Physical stamina to work 12-hour night shifts and handle physical confrontations
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing and system operations
- Must be 21+ years old and a U.S. citizen
