Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility regulations 24/7
- Conduct security rounds and headcounts during night shifts
- Respond to emergencies and incidents with de-escalation protocols
- Document incidents and maintain accurate shift reports
- Screen visitors and packages for contraband
- Collaborate with day-shift officers for seamless operations
- Participate in mandatory defensive training sessions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
- Ability to pass background check and physical fitness test
- Basic computer literacy for report writing
- Experience in security/law enforcement preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days of hire
- Ability to work independently in high-stress environments
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable
