Responsibilities
- Conduct regular, thorough patrols of federal facilities and grounds during night hours.
- Monitor and operate advanced security surveillance systems, access control points, and alarm panels.
- Respond immediately and professionally to security breaches, alarms, or emergency incidents.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on security hardware and equipment.
- Enforce strict adherence to all federal security protocols, policies, and regulations.
- Document all incidents, observations, and activity logs accurately and in real-time.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and federal agencies during critical events.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this federal position.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required; technical certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military, or facility management is highly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation, drug screening, and medical evaluation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
